Dr. Brian T. Young, DDS, MS

Dr. Young is involved in a progressive periodontal, dental implant, and bone regeneration clinical practice. Dr. Young is specially trained in techniques involving minimally invasive computer guided dental implant surgery.  Dr. Young has lectured to the general public, general dentists, and other surgeons on numerous current issues regarding dental implant reconstruction and periodontics. Dr. Young is a member and actively involved in the following:

Amy Polli

Amy was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She has an extensive background in customer service and also has various experiences in the medical field, including becoming a certified nursing assistant in 1994. She took time off in 1999 to be a full time mom to her three daughters. She moved to Ponte Vedra, Florida in 2005 with her family and went back to work part-time. Since that time she has worked in different areas of dentistry including Orthodontics, General Dentistry, and currently Periodontics. She enjoys the opportunity of being a part of a patient's dental health transformation.

In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband Danny and girls, Ansley, Abby and Allison.

Janet Murray

Janet was born in Charleston, West Virginia. She is one of four siblings. She says she was blessed with parents who had an excellent work ethic and an excellent sense of humor. They worked us like crazy -- and then laughed about it! But mainly they taught her that "Character is who you are when no one else is watching". That example has served her well in her life and has guided her in striving for excellence.

After attending Frostburg State University in Maryland Janet worked as a dental assistant for six years. She enjoyed assisting the dentist, and became interested in being more involved with the patient's treatment. That interest led her to a decision to go back to college. Janet received an Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene from West Liberty College.

She moved to Saint Augustine, Florida in 1986, where she has been working for a local general dentist and a local periodontist. She enjoys working with the patients, and she likes the family atmosphere shared with the other staff members. Janet is excited to be a member of the Jacksonville Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in Jacksonville, Florida. She can see that Dr. Young leads his team to high standards and ensures that education and quality of care is the rule and never the exception.

Janet's free time is spent enjoying her dog, Amber. She loves animals and spends time at the St. Johns Veterinary Clinic.

Janet enjoys traveling, scuba diving, creating computer graphics, web design, and video editing. She recently fulfilled a personal goal of writing and illustrating a children's book about the tooth fairy, "So, Where Do All the Baby Teeth Go?"

Martha

Martha was born and raised in Colombia, South America. She lived in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for twenty years and relocated to St. Augustine area in 2006. She earned her Dental Assistant Certificate in 1991 from Broward Community College, Florida.

Martha has been part of the Jacksonville Periodontics' team since 2006. Quality and Consistency highlight Martha's career with Dr. Brian Young, and continues to stay on top of the latest innovation dentistry has to offer. She loves helping people improve their overall health by improving their oral hygiene.

Martha is married and has two children. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family. She looks forward to meeting you and assisting you with your future dental needs.

Rita

Rita grew up in North Central Florida and has stayed close to her roots and family. She has three grown children which bring her great joy.

Rita has worked in the dental industry for over 30 years! She has managed both private practice and worked as an Administrator in a multi-practice, regional corporate practice in the Southeast. Her background also includes Administrator/Manager for a multi-practice law firm for over 5 years.

Rita has diverse interests. She is an amateur photographer whose favorite pictures include landscapes, panoramas and scenic vistas. She loves to camp, hike and be surrounded by the beauty of nature.

While camping and enjoying nature may be her favorite hobby, she also loves to travel, meet new people, spend time with family and friends, read, watch movies, go out to dinner and dance!

RitaÕs a country girl at heart who loves to help people. She gives many hours of her time volunteering with church and other community organizations like Hospice and local nursing homes. While not the focus of her volunteer activities, she has a Certification from the Dougy Center in Portland, Oregon that has given her both a theoretical foundation and hands-on experience in facilitating peer-to-peer support groups.
