First, an in-office CT scan machine will image the upper and lower jaws providing a precise diagnosis. Second, revolutionary 3D computer programs will allow Dr. Young to reconstruct your jaw on the computer screen, allowing for virtual implant surgery BEFORE your ever enter the surgical suite! Lastly, the virtual reality computer program allows Dr. Young to manufacture a template that transfers the implant positions in the computer plan directly into the mouth for safe and accurate implant procedures.

The accuracy of a computer blended with medical technology is not new. However, recent advances in dentistry have allowed this treatment to be applied in the private dental offices. Dr. Young has extensive involvement with computer guided surgery and was one of the first surgeons in the United States to use this technology. Dr. Young has lectured and trained surgeons, restorative dentists, and laboratory technicians regarding minimally invasive computer guided implant surgery throughout nationally and internationally.
